This a detailed class that walks through the mmore advanced aspects of canning with a layered giardineria that will illuminate the process for different vegetables.
We will meet at Mojo's Jojo's (9627-82 Avenue) where Jojo will supply all of the things you need to take home a jar of Giardinaria spices the way you like.
This class requires knife skills though many vegetables. It’s appropriate for someone with kitchen experience and skills.
For newbies, I recommend pickled carrots.

This class will give you the confidence to make and gift your own, setting you up for canning success in the future.
All fruit, containers, herbs and spices will be provided.
Canning Tools, provisions, and recipe books will be available for purchase at discount at the end of the class.
The kitchen is at grade level on Whyte Ave but shop doors may be narrow for a chair. Participants should be able to stand or sit at counter height for 2 hours.
Instruction will be in English and can be taught in French if requested.
