Come and join Jojo herself at the Mojo Jojo kitchen and learn the basics of making and fermenting root vegetables and brassicas to make basic sauerkraut.
This class will give you the confidence to read and follow recipes on your own, setting you up for canning success in the future.
You will leave the class with a 1L swing-top jar prepared for fermenting and finishing at home. This is a fermented jar and will not be shelf-stable or canned,

This class will give you the confidence to read and follow and set - up ferments on your own.
Canning Tools, provisions, and recipe books will be available for purchase at the end of the class.
Washrooms and beverages will be provided
The kitchen is at grade level on Whyte Ave but shop doors may be narrow for a chair. Participants should be able to stand or sit at counter height for 2 hours.
Instruction will be in English and can be taught in French if requested.
