Fermented cucumber pickles known as Sour or Kosher Dills are a classic recipe for making deli-style pickles without vinegar. It's a great way to test what you've learned from single ferments into a more challenging recipe.
We will meet at Mojo's Jojo's Nosh & Quaff (9627-82 Avenue) where Jojo will supply all of the things you need to take home a 1L crock of pickles for your to complete fermenting at home.

This class will give you the confidence to read and follow pickling recipes on your own, setting you up for future fermenting projects.
Washrooms and beverages will be provided
The kitchen is at grade level on Whyte Ave but shop doors may be narrow for a chair. Participants should be able to stand or sit at counter height for 2 hours.
Instruction will be in English and can be taught in French if requested.
