We're going to make salt-preserved lemons, a fast and simple ferment that will elevate your pantry.
We will meet at Mojo's Jojo's (9627-82 Avenue) where Jojo will supply all of the things you need to take home 2 jars of decorated preserved lemons in swing-top jars.

This class will give you the confidence to make and gift your own, setting you up for canning success in the future.
Canning Tools, provisions, and recipe books will be available for purchase at discount at the end of the class.
All fruit, containers, herbs and spices will be provided.
The kitchen is at grade level on Whyte Ave but shop doors may be narrow for a chair. Participants should be able to stand or sit at counter height for 2 hours.
Instruction will be in English and can be taught in French if requested.
